On Thursday 21 April, 13 Members of the Corps travelled to the Isle of Man to take part in Ex Manx Odyssey: a four-day adventurous training expedition on the island.
FANYs were hosted at Government House in Onchan and took part in a walking expedition up North Barrule, gorge walking, sea swimming, travelled up Snaefell by electric mountain railing, adventurous high ropes, and a variety of shorter walking treks. Members also visited several other Isle of Man sites including the major geological fault at Niarbyl beach, Tynwald Hill and St John’s Church, the Point of Ayre, and the Old Lonan Church and Celtic crosses.
Current Active Members were also joined by Associate Member Jane Tatchell and FANY Patron Jocelyn Rosenberg for a small reception. Jane also invited Members to visit the unique Great Union Camera Obscura in Douglas.

The Corps is grateful to the Ulysses Trust and the RFCA for their generous support that enabled this expedition to take place.
