In the last year, the FANY have given over 1,000 days of support in the fight against COVID-19. This support has been provided by 130 volunteers to 9 organisations.
On International Women's Day, our volunteers reflect on their service and what the last year has meant to them.
On the centenary of the birth of Violette Szabo, members of the Corps and a socially-distant crowd turned out to celebrate Szabo's life. Wreaths were laid at the cenotaph in Builth Wells, where Szabo's daughter Tania lives. At the picnic that followed, Tania told Corps members stories from her mother's life, and danced along to 1940s music hits in the park.
