Genevieve Lane

We are delighted to announce that one of our veterans, Phyllis Doyle MBE (née Latour), code-named ‘Genevieve’, is having a street named after her. Genevieve Lane will be unveiled next March in Auckland, where Phyllis lives.

We are delighted that a blue plaque to commemorate Corps member Christine Granville OBE GM CdeG, born Krystyna Skarbek, has been unveiled in London today at the Lexham Gardens Hotel, Kensington.

We are sad to report that Helen Taylor Thompson died this week. Corps members met Helen at the D-Day 75 commemoration in Portsmouth last year, where she hugely impressed Prime Minister Trudeau.
