Operations Officer Shortlisted for the Women in Defence Awards 2019

The Corps are delighted to announce Staff Commander Alex Milne has been shortlisted for the Outstanding Contribution Award as part of the Women in Defence Awards 2019.

Alex first joined the Corps in February 2001, having been encouraged to sign up by a colleague. Her grandmother was a FANY during WWII, but she hadn't realised the Corps was still so active in London. Alex has been employed by the Corps since 2007, initially as the Adjutant and now as the Operations Officer, but she continues to maintain her training and operational commitments as a volunteer.

Congratulations to all those who were shortlisted, we are looking forward to the finalist announcements later this week.
