FANYs travelled to France over the weekend to take part in the annual ceremony commemorating the landing of the first SOE agent on 6th May 1941 near Valençay, an event jointly organised by the Mayor of Valençay and Libre Resistance.
They also visited the drop zone at Bois Porier where Andrée Borrell and Lise de Baissac landed in September 1942 to a reception committee including Yvonne Rudellat (another FANY).
The Corps are hugely grateful to the Gerry Holdsworth Charitable Trust who generously supported the FANYs on this historic trip.
