Three FANYs have completed the tough two-week French Paratroopers Course in ETAP (École des Troupes Aéroportées), Pau, and have earned their ‘brevet’ (wings).
This challenging opportunity is available to members of the Corps to honour the historical connection to FANY Special Operations Executive operatives in WWII. We are so proud of the courageous women who have served in the FANY over the years – notably those who parachuted into occupied France during the Second World War; many of whom lost their lives.
Huge congratulations to the entire team who put so much effort into the preparation and training in order to be eligible to even start the course.
