We are so proud of the courageous women who have served in the FANY over the years – notably those who parachuted into occupied France during the Second World War; many of whom lost their lives.
To keep their memory alive, and also to play our part in the 120th anniversary of ‘Entente Cordiale’, five FANYs recently completed the tough two week French Paratroopers Course in ETAP (École des Troupes Aéroportées), Pau, thereby earning their ‘brevet’ (wings).
