Exercise Unified Response

The FANYs have been supporting Ex UNIFIED RESPONSE from 29 February-3 March. This is a large scale and complex, live and command post exercise, replicating a major incident occurring in Waterloo Station.

Employers’ Evening

On 10th February 2016, the FANYs held an Employers’ Evening which was an opportunity to thank employers for their support and to show them some of the roles and activities in which FANYs have participated. Employers from the local area were also invited.

Exercise Snowfox

The FANYs started 2016 by taking in Exercise SNOW FOX XXI in Val D’Isère, France. Exercise Snow Fox is the pan-Yeomanry Alpine Skiing Championship which aims to promote fitness, physical agility, teamwork and leadership.

In 2015 FANY provided over 524 days of support to 20 different organisations. In addition, members received professional training in crisis response management so that they were ready to deploy.
