FANY are Runner's Up at the Home Office's Lord Ferrers Award.

The citation made particular reference to the assistance given to a fraud investigation targeting the Gurkha and ex-Gurkha community earlier this year.

Over 300 nominations were received for the eight different awards and, although the Corps did not win overall within its category, we were delighted to be runner's up for such a prestigious award.

The Home Secretary, Rt Hon Amber Rudd MP, attended the event and gave the closing address, congratulating all those present on their exceptional voluntary commitments.
